london riots message from zaina
OVER THE PAST FEW DAYS I HAVE WATCHED IN DISMAY AS THE RIOTS HAVE ARUPTED IN THE UK, VIOLENCE AND KILLINGS, LOOTING AND DESTRUCTION IS SPREADING ACROSS ENGLAND LIKE AN INCUREABLE VIRUS. IT IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IT HAS HAPPENED IN THE UK, I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES TWICE IN THE EARLY 1980s. EVERYONE KNOWS I AM AN AVID ADVOCAT FOR PEACE, VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE ANSWER AND IT IS UNACCEPTABLE IN ANY FORM. TO THE PERPETRATORS AND LEADERS OF THE RIOTS; I IMPLORE AND ASKYOU TO STOP, TO THE RIOTERS I WILL ADVISE YOU THAT VIOLENCE IS NEVER THE RIGHT WAY, TO THE FAMILIES OF THOSE INVOLVE, PLEASE SPECT TO YOUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS, BROTHERS AND SISTERS MOTHERS AND FATHERS, BEG THEM TO STOP THIS PATH TO DISTRUCTION. EXPLAIN THAT THIS IS ONLY GOING TO MAKE THEIR LIVES MUCH MORE UNINTOLERABLE IN THE FUTURE, THE UK CITYZENS HAVE MORE HUMAN RIGHTS THAN THE MAJORITY OF COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD, THE UK HAS THE NATIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM, BENIFIT SYSTEM AND MUCH MORE, I KNOW THAT THERE IS A GREAT DEAT OF UNEMPLOYMENT, BUT THE UK ISNT THE ONLY COUNTRY WITH THIS PROBLEM, BE THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU HAVE. PUT YOUR TIME AND TALENTS TO GOOD USE BY DOING VOLUNTARY WORK LIKE I HAVE DONE FOR MANY YEARS, DONT JUST SIT AROUND PLANNING YOUR NEXT CRIME AGAINST SOCIETY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU HAD TO LIVE IN A WOODEN OR TIN SHACK? NOT KNOWING WHERE YOU NEXT MEAL WAS COMING FROM, NOT BEING ABLE TO GET MEDICAL ATTENTION OR BUT MEDICATION, NO WATER, NO ELECTRIC OR GAS, NOTHING. NO LUXURIES. NOT EVEN BASIC ITEMS, HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN A LAND STREWN WITH LAND MINES? OR IN A COUNTRY WHERE ALL THE POLICE ARE ARMED AND BRUTAL, THINK YOURSELF LUCKY FOR WHAT ENGLAND PROVIDES YOU WITH, FOR THE SAKE OK ALL, DONT LET ANOTHER INOCENT VICTIM BE HARMED OR KILLED, DONT ENVY OTHER FOR WHAT THEY HAVE. LIVE A LIFE OF PEACE, THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE, WHAT WE DO NOW HAS A DOMINO EFFECT ON WHAT WILL COME, WHAT WE SOW WE REAP. SO PLEASE GO HOME AND TRY TO LIVE THE BEST YOU CAN. ZAINA

WHY CANT SOME PEOPLE TELL THE THRUTH
It is incredible how someone can say they know Either Omar, I or members of the family when they have never even met us, let alone say that they are close friends, those who know us and are close to us are the people who spend time with us, sit with us, go out for a coffee or a meal with us, the people who say this know exactly who I am refering too. they dont brag to all and sundre that they will visit us soon when they are not welcome. and they dont lie about us either. i feel incensed at their audacity and blatant lies.

In 2007 Zaina and I began to write the story of my life and growing up as the son of Osama, later that year after I had told many of my childhood stories to Zaina who had patiently written every detail, we decided to try to get the story published, as we were new to being authors we felt that finding a published writer to help us find a publisher was the best way to proceed, hence we sent an email to the author Jean Sasson who had written the prince’s trilogies. Zaina continued to write the stories I was telling her, we then sent them all to jean sasson, neither I or zaina had or never have met jean sasson, but trusted her to edit the book that zaina and I were writing, spending hours a day getting all my memories in order, it was extremely tiring and so much pain remembering my past. Jean asked a few questions if she felt we had missed something or to clarify a date. Zaina and I ended up with a manuscript of over 2000 pages that had to be cut to around 360 at the publisher’s request, many very important parts of my life were cut and a multitude of flowery sentences added. Culminating in a book that was deemed a readable romance. The book was published in over 30 different languages yet zaina and I only ever received an English version. And the book never managed to make a best seller apparently. Zaina and I plan to write another one day

There's a wonderful quote in Henry V about where the boundaries of sin's ownership begin; 'So, if a son that is by his father sent about merchandise do sinfully miscarry upon the sea, the imputation of his wickedness by your rule, should be imposed upon his father that sent him?' - . People make their own choices and who omars father is should not be his moral burden, even though it shall be for generations.

WEATHER IN QATAR
It has been beautiful today, weather is cooling down a lot now, spend much of the time watching TV, playing on the PS3 or going for coffee, Omar has now had the chance to meet friends from Moulton, Cheshire. went to see paranormal activity 2, it is possibly the most boring film we have ever had to sit through,, also watched Saw 3D i had to look away during the grusome parts, i wanted to see Alpha and Omega but never got round to it
